They won’t stop the noise.
You can stop the silence.

Record 60 seconds. Get a notarized dB certificate. Settle it tonight, not in court.

The moment you wish you had proof

They won't stop. You don't have to argue.

You close the windows. You knock on the door. You call the property manager. They say, "without evidence, there's nothing we can do."

You open your phone. You search "noise evidence app." You find five. Each one asks you to sign up, pay, and download a 60 MB file you don't trust with your microphone.

You close the phone. You wait. The noise continues.

Soundtest.pro is the one that doesn't make you sign up. Tap once. Get a timestamped dB record with location. Export as PDF in under two minutes. Show it to the manager, the landlord, or the court.

Things people ask before they start

Six honest answers.

Does my recording get uploaded to a server?
No. All processing happens in your browser. Nothing leaves your device unless you explicitly export and share a PDF, CSV, or audio file. You can verify this in your browser's network panel — open DevTools, record, and you'll see zero outbound audio traffic.
How accurate is the dB reading, really?
Consumer microphones aren't lab-grade. Our readings are accurate to within ±3 dB on most laptop and phone mics, which is honest enough for civilian documentation and dispute resolution. For legal-grade measurement, you'll still want a certified Type 2 sound level meter. We publish the full methodology on our accuracy page.
Will a property manager, landlord, or court actually accept this?
Property managers routinely accept timestamped dB records as supporting evidence, especially when bundled with a short audio clip. Courts vary by jurisdiction; our Pro notarized PDF includes a SHA-256 hash and a third-party timestamp anchor that several small-claims courts have accepted. We're honest about what we are: a documentation aid, not a legal instrument.
Why is Pro $4.99 and not free?
$4.99/mo covers the notarization service, multi-device sync, and the 24-hour evidence review queue. The free tier stays free because noise is universal and so is documentation. We don't sell your data, run ads, or train models on your recordings — we can't, because the recordings never reach us.
Do you support languages other than English?
Yes — the full site and recorder are translated into 9 languages: English, 中文, Español, Français, Deutsch, 日本語, 한국어, Tiếng Việt, ไทย. Switch via the language pill in the top-right.
What happens to my data if I switch phones?
On the free tier, your records live in your browser's local storage. If you clear browser data, they're gone — export PDFs first. On Pro, records sync across devices with a 5-year retention guarantee, and you can pull a full export at any time from your account page.
